Pregnancy Policy - Silversea Cruises

Pregnant women who have entered the 24th week of estimated fetal gestational age at any time during the cruise will not be eligible to sail with the ship. Silversea Cruises policy prohibits any guest who will have entered her 24th week of pregnancy or greater at any time during the cruise from sailing.

Guests should be aware that there is no Obstetrician/Gynecologist available on board, and pregnancy that is unstable or poorly controlled can be potentially life-threatening, especially without immediate backup. A guest may be at sea for several days without access to hospital facilities or specialists, and since the itinerary may not be within the U.S., access to specialized shore-side medical care may be limited.

All guests are required to sign a health questionnaire at check-in, confirming their awareness of Silversea’s pregnancy policy. If you have already booked a cruise or cruise tour and do not meet this requirement, please contact your travel agent or airline.
