Pregnant women are welcome onboard Hurtigruten cruises. However, it is recommended to seek medical advice prior to travel at any stage of pregnancy. For the safety of both mother and baby, a medical certificate may be required at certain stages of pregnancy.
If travel is planned up to 4 weeks before the due date, a medical certificate is not needed. However, between 2 to 4 weeks before the due date, a medical certificate is required to travel with Hurtigruten. For travel less than 2 weeks before the due date, pregnant women are not permitted to travel with Hurtigruten.
