What type of food is onboard?

Your cruise fare always includes breakfast, lunch, and dinner while onboard, ensuring that you have access to delicious meals throughout your voyage. Cruises offer a wide range of dining options, from casual buffets and main dining rooms to specialty restaurants that cater to different cuisines and tastes. As cruise ships continue to grow in size and innovation, newer and larger vessels feature even more dining choices, including gourmet experiences, international flavors, and exclusive venues curated by world-renowned chefs. 

 

Buffet

In general, every ship will offer a buffet that is open early for breakfast all the way through late-night snacks. 

  • Breakfast: Egg stations for omelets, a variety of cold cuts, cheeses, cereals, breakfast meats, breads, etc.
  • Lunch: Burgers, hot dogs & fries, Indian food, Salad station, Sandwiches, soups, etc.
  • Dinner: The theme for dinner changes each evening, examples might include Seafood, Spanish, Indian, All-American, etc.

 

Main Dining Rooms (MDR)

Every ship will have a main dining room which will be open for sit-down breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

  • Breakfast: Your choice of eggs, a variety of cold cuts, cheeses, cereals, breakfast meats, bread, etc.
  • Lunch: Burgers, hot dogs & fries, sandwiches, and soups, etc.
  • Dinner: The theme for dinner changes each evening, examples might include Seafood, Spanish, Indian, French, All-American, etc.

 

Specialty Restaurants

Most newer ships offer at least one specialty restaurant which you may choose for a celebration while onboard - a Steakhouse, French restaurant, Sushi, or Italian to name a few. These restaurants typically have a nominal charge per person which can range from $20-$40 depending on the restaurant.
