Packing for an Alaska Cruise can be tough - as temperatures range from 45-55 degrees during the Summer months. Most ships sailing Alaska offer indoor solariums/pools and hot tubs so don't forget your bathing suits.
- Waterproof all-weather jacket with a hood.
- Closed-toe walking/hiking shoes if you plan on being active.
- Jeans or waterproof pants.
- Layers, Layers, and more Layers - short and long sleeve T's and Sweaters.
- Suntan Lotion - It's not the Caribbean but you can actually still get sunburned.
- Polarized Sunglasses - remember the Sun will be reflecting off both the water and the ice.
- Binoculars.
- Gloves - you might not need them but good to have just in case.
- Lightweight backpack or crossbody bag.
While Alaskan cruises are casual overall most ships will still offer two formal nights onboard so don't forget to add some evening wear.
