Most cruise cabin pricing is designed for double occupancy so if you are sailing solo you will still pay for two guests. Cruise lines will sometimes offer to reduce the single supplement from 100% to 50%.
Cruise lines like Royal Caribbean International and Norwegian Cruise Line, have created cabins for the solo cruiser and guests do not have to pay the single supplement, these do tend to sell out quickly as inventory is limited so book early!
