Cancellation Policy - Virgin Voyages

This cancellation policy is specific to Virgin Voyages and is provided for your reference. It is effective as of August 27, 2024, as stated on the cruise line's website at that time. Please ensure that your cruise is covered by this policy. Cruise Director is not responsible for any sudden changes to the policy.

Virgin Voyages Cancellation Policy

Virgin Voyages offers flexibility in their cancellation policy, designed to enhance the overall experience for their Sailors.

If a booking is made more than 120 days prior to the start of the voyage, guests have a 7-day grace period to request a full refund on their deposit and any other payments made. Refunds will be issued to the original form of payment.

After the 7-day grace period (but still before the 120-day window), guests are eligible for a full refund on any payments made, excluding the deposit. Instead of a refund, the deposit will be converted into a Future Voyage Credit (FVC), which can be applied toward a future voyage.

For cancellations made between 119 and 45 days before the voyage, all funds paid will be converted into a Future Voyage Credit (FVC), which is valid for one year from the original voyage start date.

Once within 44 days of the voyage, all payments are final and non-refundable. However, guests have the option to transfer their booking to another person up to 48 hours before the voyage if they are unable to sail. Taxes and fees will be refunded regardless of when the cancellation occurs.
