Age Requirements - AmaWaterways

AmaWaterways requires that all guests under the age of 18 stay in a stateroom with an adult and remain under supervision at all times, with the accompanying adult(s) responsible for their safety. For stateroom occupancy, children under 10 years old may share a stateroom with two adults, provided no additional bed is needed and the child can share the bed with the adults. Note that balcony staterooms may pose safety risks for minors if unsupervised.

For general cruises, the minimum age for children is 4 years old, though exceptions can be made with prior agreement from AmaWaterways. However, on Africa Safaris & Wildlife Cruises, there is a minimum age limit of 12 years old, unless otherwise agreed upon.

AmaWaterways does not offer child-specific programs or child-minding facilities.
