Setting a new standard in size and comfort, the Viking Vela stretches an impressive 39 feet longer and boasts a remarkable 7-foot wider beam compared to our current fleet. This expansion allows us to enhance the onboard experience by accommodating an additional 68 passengers. Notably, the ship's deck plans showcase significant modifications to the rear section, incorporating extra cabins and extending the main restaurant and world café. As a result, guests can revel in the added spaciousness and luxury of their cabins, thanks to a slight increase in floor area.
In our commitment to environmental sustainability, the Viking Vela is equipped with innovative features. Notably, reports suggest that the ship possesses the capability to utilize hydrogen propulsion, a groundbreaking advancement that enables eco-friendly navigation in environmentally sensitive areas.
