Viking Ocean Cruises, the sister line of Viking River Cruises, made a splash in 2015 with the launch of Viking Star – the first oceangoing vessel from the cruise line. This 930-passenger ship brings the spirit of river cruising to the high seas. Enjoy destination-focused itineraries filled with longer-than-average calls, plus complimentary tours in each port, complimentary wine and beer at lunch and dinner, transfers, and most specialty restaurants. The ship is a treat for the senses, with modern Scandinavian decor, luxe fabrics and leather furniture, a Nordic spa, and a café featuring Norwegian history and family recipes. Attention to detail and artwork make the ship feel more like a boutique hotel than a cruise liner. Viking Ocean Cruises isn't the best choice for all travelers. The destination-intensive itineraries and few days at sea mean there's no casino and limited onboard activities. Entertainment at night varies in quality. And the minimum age to sail is 18, so families with young children won't find this cruise line suitable.

Manfredi’s offers the best of Italian cuisine, whether the farm-inspired heartiness of Tuscany or the famed flavours from Rome. Subdued, ambient lighting creates a warm, welcoming air in this traditional restaurant recalling Italy’s beloved trattorias.
Pool Grill
For a relaxed lunch or afternoon snack, the Pool Grill serves casual fare prepared to order. Choose from Viking Burger, Seared Ahi Tuna, and much more. A small salad bar is also available for a lighter meal.
