Sailing on Viking Sky is like a luxurious resort, rather than the typical cruise ship experience. With no casino and no added-fee restaurants, it offers a high-value, low-hassle vacation. Every space is designed with the modern traveler in mind, with plenty of outlets, USB ports, comfortable seating, books, decorative touches and expansive ocean views. The friendly crew anticipates guests' needs and remembers preferences, making the experience one-of-a-kind. While Viking Sky is great overall, the entertainment lacks innovation and the included shore excursions are not as good as the optional, for-fee offerings. Still, a cruise on Viking Sky is an unbeatable experience.
