MS Antares
Uncover the Magic of the Rhine on Viking MS Antares
Viking MS Antares is one of four Nile Cruise vessels owned and operated by the world's largest river cruise line. The 62-passenger MS Antares stands out for its traditional feel, as opposed to the trio of contemporary ships, Viking Ra, Osiris, and Aton, which feature the line's signature understated Scandinavian decor. Acquired by Viking in 2020, the 2007-built ship underwent a full renovation in 2018. MS Antares is the smallest vessel of the four, with a capacity of 52 passengers. The spacious accommodations range from 290 square feet to 829 square feet, and include four cabins on the main deck with French balconies, as well as 31 river-facing staterooms across the middle and upper decks. Two of the suites have walk-out balconies, while the Explorer Suite features two French balconies and additional amenities. Onboard, guests can enjoy a lounge with a bar, restaurant, library, and shop. The sun deck has loungers, chairs, and tables, and an elevator serves all three cabin decks. Unusually for a Viking riverboat, MS Antares also has a health club with exercise equipment and a spa with massage services, steam room, and sauna.
