Viking Ve is one of Viking's fleet of German-built "Longships" that have revolutionized the European riverboat cruise scene. Viking Ve sails the Amsterdam-Budapest route along the Rhine, Main and Danube Rivers, passing through 67 locks and stopping at cities and villages such as Cologne, Vienna and the Black Forest. Occasional Danube Canal closures can mix up the itinerary, with the ship sailing south between Germany and France instead.
