Unforgettable River Cruise on the Viking Longship Sigyn

Viking Sigyn, named after the goddess of fidelity, is set to join Viking's Longships fleet in April 2019. These sleek, Scandinavian-inspired ships offer a comfortable cruising experience with plenty of glass-walled public spaces, staterooms and amenities tailored to the 55-70 age range. Passengers can explore the Danube River in style, with an inclusive experience and one included shore excursion per port. Additional excursions are also available at a fee, such as musical events, wine tastings, and food explorations. The atmosphere onboard is friendly and casual, with cuisine that reflects the destination regions. The Restaurant and Aquavit Terrace offer a buffet and menu options for breakfast and lunch, and a varying menu for dinner. Soft drinks, beer and wine are included with meals. Accommodations range from 150-square-foot river-view cabins to 445-square-foot Explorer Suites with extras like breakfast room service, laundry, mini-bar service and the Silver Spirits beverage package. All cabins include safes, mini-fridges and well-designed bathrooms with heated floors, antifog mirrors and plenty of storage. The top deck is perfect for soaking up the scenery, with seating, a walking track, putting greens and deck games. The Lounge is the ship's entertainment center, with local performers, game nights, dancing, and pre-dinner cruise briefings. Viking Sigyn will sail itineraries from Budapest to Germany, and from Budapest to the Black Sea with an age minimum of 18.
