Viking Radgrid is part of a four-ship order of specially modified Viking Longships, designed to sail France's Seine River and dock within the heart of Paris. This 168-passenger vessel offers the trademark features of its larger siblings, like the signature Scandinavian design and glass-enclosed Aquavit Terrace, as well as true suites thanks to an offset cabin corridor design. The ship offers plenty of open space, like an airy two-story atrium and a cozy library and computer nook. The Viking Lounge and Restaurant feature full floor-to-ceiling windows while two different dining venues - the Restaurant and the Aquavit Terrace - offer meals varying from European and North American favorites. Complimentary Champagne or mimosas at breakfast and free-flowing beer, wine and soft drinks served with lunch and dinner make for a pleasurable culinary experience. Cabins range from economical river-view staterooms to French and step-out balcony cabins and true suites. Amenities like a 42-inch interactive flat-panel television, heated bathroom floors, anti-fog mirrors and complimentary glass water carafes replenished daily are included. The top deck features plenty of outdoor seating and a jogging track, along with the ship's own herb gardens and solar panels. In the evenings, local entertainers come onboard and a lone piano player tickles the ivories in the Viking Lounge.
