Viking Longship Kari
Explore the Rhine in Style on a Viking Longship Kari River Cruise
Viking Kari is one of four river cruise ships that launched in 2022 and is designed specifically for France's Seine River. With a new hull design and new engines, the ship is able to dock right in the heart of Paris, conveniently located 10 minutes from the Eiffel Tower. Viking Kari carries slightly fewer guests than its Longship counterparts, with a maximum capacity of 168 compared to 190 passengers. Onboard, you'll find Viking's trademark Aquavit Terrace, a two-story glass atrium reception lobby, and a main restaurant with floor-to-ceiling windows. The cozy main lounge also features floor-to-ceiling windows, and there are plenty of Scandinavian touches throughout. There are no spas, salons, fitness centers, or bicycles onboard. Viking Kari offers meals in its main restaurant, as well as a casual menu for breakfast, lunch and dinner at the Aquavit Terrace. Meals feature a blend of European and American specialties, and beer, wine and soft drinks are complimentary with lunch and dinner. Guests staying in the two Explorer's Suites are eligible for complimentary room service breakfast. The ship features comfortable and cozy staterooms ranging from small river-view rooms to spacious suites. On the top deck, you'll find a jogging track, Viking's onboard herb garden, and plenty of covered and uncovered seating space. Viking Kari will sail Viking's eight-day "Paris & The Heart of Normandy" river cruise when it enters service in 2022. Featuring top-notch amenities, comfortable accommodations, and delicious meals, Viking Kari is the perfect choice for a river cruise on the Seine.
