Viking Forseti is also environmentally friendly and uses hybrid diesel-electric engines that burn less fuel and produce fewer emissions, making it cleaner and quieter than other vessels. The sun deck is even equipped with solar panels to help power the engines. The chef even maintains an organic garden on the upper deck during the growing season.

The library has comfortable seating and excellent reading light. The ships' libraries carry approximately 80 books, in various languages but mostly English, and several games such as chess, backgammon and playing cards. Pick up a magazine or board game and enjoy it in the lounge just steps away.
