Viking Delling draws its name from Norse mythology, the god Delling being the "father of the day". Step aboard and you'll be welcomed by natural light beaming through the two-story glass reception area. The 95-cabin ship is designed to maximize natural light, with ample outside views, ceiling-to-floor windows in the Restaurant and the cozy Lounge on the second floor. The open-air Aquavit Terrace at the ship's bow is a favorite, with outdoor seating and heaters. Dining alfresco is possible on casual meals served at the buffet, or you can head to the Sun Deck with its shaded seating, putting green and walking track. Viking Delling is environmentally conscious, with diesel-electric hybrid engines, solar panels, air-conditioning that turns off when the door is opened and key-activated lights. Inside, the intimate yet spacious atmosphere offers a library "corner", small business center and free Wi-Fi. You'll feel at home right away.

The library has comfortable seating and excellent reading light. The ships' libraries carry approximately 80 books, in various languages but mostly English, and several games such as chess, backgammon and playing cards. Pick up a magazine or board game and enjoy it in the lounge just steps away.
