Virgin Voyages’ third ‘Lady Ship’, Resilient Lady, will make its debut in May 2023. Joining the Scarlet Lady and Valiant Lady, with a fourth ship, Brilliant Lady, on order, this vessel will provide an adult-only experience of wellness and rejuvenation. The fare includes a basic beverage package, gratuities, Wi-Fi and fitness classes, and the ship will feature a range of dining options, as well as accommodations including 1,408 cabins, many with ocean views and balconies. The largest cabins will be the Mega RockStar suites, with retro furnishings and electric guitars. Onboard, Resilient Lady will have energy-saving features such as cabin occupancy sensors that adjust lighting, air conditioning and blinds to optimal power saving settings. Climeon technology will also be used, which utilizes the heat from the ship’s engines to produce electricity. Plus, Virgin Voyages is offsetting its direct climate change emissions through carbon offsets. Resilient Lady’s maiden season will be in Athens, sailing two week-long round-trip cruises to the Greek Isles and Adriatic coast. After this, it will reposition to San Juan, Puerto Rico, for a series of Caribbean cruises. Resilient Lady is 110,000 gross tons and will carry 2,700 passengers at full capacity, with 1,150 crew. Ready to challenge traditional cruise ship design, this is sure to be a bold and unique experience for all who sail onboard.
