MS Maud
Marvel at Norway's Coastline with MS Maud Cruise
For those seeking an outdoor adventure and excellent food, MS Maud is an ideal choice. The 528-passenger vessel, named after Roald Amundsen's 1917 ship "Maud" from Norway, takes guests on a 15-day round-trip from Stavanger to the North Cape from November to March. In spring, the ship sails round-trip from Dover to Scotland's west coast, calling at the Isle of Man, Isles of Scilly, Ireland and the Western Isles. MS Maud has an Expedition Team made up of an expedition leader, whale and dolphin watcher, geologist, micro-biologist, historian, and photographer. The ship is equipped with comfortable, public areas and two outdoor hot tubs to take in the breathtaking views of Norway and Scotland's coastline. Onboard food is exceptional and includes a buffet breakfast, while lunch and dinner are waiter-served set menus with wine and beer included. As this ship is an expedition ship, don't expect frequent port stops, as well as no Cruise Director or evening entertainment. In short, MS Maud is perfect for adventurous couples or friend groups looking for outdoor experiences and great food. However, it's not suitable for those seeking family activities, onboard entertainment or nightlife.
