In May 2013, Avalon Expression joined Avalon Waterways and now offers passengers the opportunity to cruise along the Danube River from Amsterdam to Budapest, or from Budapest to Prague. Onboard, passengers can enjoy the comfort of 64 200-square-foot Panorama Suites, two 300-square-foot Royal Suites, and 16 172-square-foot cabins, all with wall-to-wall windows and modern amenities such as flat-screen satellite TV and minibar. The ship also offers various lounges, a fitness center, an open-air bistro, free Wi-Fi and more. Avalon Expression cruises are especially popular with English-speaking passengers aged 55 and over as all onboard meals, accommodations, sightseeing excursions, onboard lectures, piano entertainment and wine with dinner are included in the fare.
