Sail the AmaMelodia and Experience a Unique Cruise Vacation

AmaWaterways is the first mainstream river cruise line to sail Colombia's Magdalena River and is launching two ships to do so. AmaMagdalena is set to launch in March 2024, followed by AmaMelodia a month later. Both ships offer 32 river-facing cabins on the lower Salsa and main Cumbia decks. Cabins range from 237 to 318 square feet and all have a French balcony and walk-out veranda. Suites feature a bathtub. Public areas include a main restaurant, lounge, fitness facility and outdoor area with a pool. AmaMelodia will offer two seven-night itineraries between Barranquilla and Cartagena, visiting Palenque, Calamar, Santa Barbara de Pinto, Mompox, El Banco, Magangue and Nuena Venecia. The ship measures 223 feet and carries 64 passengers with 30 crew. It will launch on April 6, 2024 with nightly entertainment, a gala dinner and intimate specialty dining experience. Pre- and post-cruise packages are available in Medellin, Cartagena and Panama City.
