AmaLucia is the latest addition to the AmaWaterways fleet, launching in 2021. This European based river cruise ship is a sister ship to AmaSiena, and is the 26th vessel in the fleet. Onboard, guests can expect the same casual luxury atmosphere and contemporary design, with included beer, wine and soft drinks at lunch and dinner, plus complimentary shore excursions and onboard bicycles. AmaLucia's top deck features a small pool, comfortable lounge areas and a giant chess board - while the Main Lounge is the gathering place for evening entertainment and briefings. Cabins come with North American-style 120V outlets, flat-panel TVs and free Wi-Fi, plus there are suites with two balconies, connecting staterooms and entry-level rooms with riverview windows. The main restaurant offers open seating and locally-sourced cuisines, while the Chef’s Table is a complimentary, reservations-only gourmet dining experience. Passengers can choose from a range of complimentary excursions, from city tours and bike rides to wine tastings and hikes through the Black Forest. AmaLucia was officially christened in August 2022 by the Farmer children, the children of AmaWaterways board member Colin Farmer and his late wife Katie Textor.
