AmaWaterways has been cruising the Mekong River since 2009 and AmaDara is the only vessel sailing this route. This ship is available from August to April each year and offers a relaxed, tranquil atmosphere. The look and feel of the ship is inspired by the local culture, with lots of shiny wood and fresh orchids in the cabins and throughout the vessel. Service levels are high, with a maximum of 124 passengers, so it never feels too crowded. There are no organized activities onboard for children, so parents need to keep the youngsters entertained. The cruises offer a great way to experience life on the river without the stress of a tight schedule.
