NEW ORLEANS CRUISES

from $299
New Orleans is a magical city and voodoo has nothing to do with it. Every year Mardi Gras attracts more than a million visitors to the city but there is a lot to enjoy the rest of the year as well.  It has a humid subtropical climate which means hot summers and warm winters. Visitors flock to the French Quarter to enjoy the restaurants, bars and nightclubs that line the streets in the area especially on Bourbon Street. No visit is complete without drinking a Hurricane which is a local specialty. New Orleans is the home of Jazz and there are many live music clubs around the city to enjoy.

WHAT TO DO

Food is a big attraction in “The Crescent City” with jambalaya, gumbo and muffalettas along with the iconic beignet being favorites. Historic sites abound and a tour through one of the hauntingly beautiful cemeteries is a must as well as a trip up river to one of the plantations open for visits. New Orleans is a great walking city but a trolley ride is a must as well as a walk thought the Garden District. New Orleans loves its Saints and enjoying a game is a popular way to spend Sunday’s in the fall. Year round festivals guarantee that there is always something exciting going on.
